sounds like my dentist!. everytime he has me up in the stirrups i ask him if he is sure about this and he says in a comforting voice oh, yeah, just close your eyes and relax; out comes the ether, next thing i find myself awoke in a philipine brothel on the southside of chicago with my shirt on inside out, one shoe missing, my belt hanging from the belt loops and bed-head!. frickin' sadist!. they should have unless you are allergic to opiates or something!. try 800 mg of ibprofin (2x the otc dose=Rx dose)
call him and request a prescription, and find a dentist that isn't so sadistic!.
also, if he provides his pain medication out of his office rather than sending you for a prescription, this could be a red flag that he is abusing his access at his patient's expense by "writing" you a prescription and never filling it for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most dentists will give pain medication!.You should call and ask for it I know it is a very painful condition!.When I had mine taken out I was hospitalized overnight but that was years ago!. You definitely need something - explain to him that it hurts and over the counter pain meds really don't work for this procedure!.If he refuses call your primary care doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
that isnt normal, mine were pulled out weeks ago and my doctor gave me vicodin (God bless vicodin)!. i felt like i wanted to just kill myself because of the pain!.!. wisdom teeth suck, i woudl just tell your doctor that the pain is unbareable and he/she will gladly give you some pain killers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
That is not right, everyone I know that has got their wisdom teeth pulled has got perscribed something even antibiotics!. You should call your dentist and tell him that your in a lot of pain, and he/she will probably give you something for pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It must have been an oversight not to give you a prescription for a pain killer!. Take a couple Anacin and call them in the morning!. Hope you can sleep tonight!. You know, if the pain is THAT bad, I'd call the dentist at home and have him prescribe something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Almost all of my friends have had there wisdom teeth pulled, and all of the them have been given some sort of pain killer, I'm not sure why you wouldn't get one, but if its too painful you can always call your dentist or doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes they are supposed to prescribe you vicodin and antibotic, sometimes ibprofin as well!. thats what they gave me!. are you sure you didnt leave before they wrote you a prescription!? i would call and leave a message and have them forward a prescription to your pharmacyWww@Answer-Health@Com
You need pain medicine, you should have gotten enough pain meds for 3 days say one every 4 to 6 hours as needed!. You need to call your dental guy back and have them send you in a prescription for pain!. There is no excuse for them not giving you something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Take Advil Liquid Gelcaps!. They work wonderful, and quick!. When I had my wisdom teeth taken out, the doctor prescribed me a pain pill, but it made me sick when I took it, so I took Advil the whole time, and was pain free! Plus, it helps with the swelling as well!. Hope you feel better!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call them and tell them you need something!. In the mean time, take 800mg of ibuprofen!. It wont be the same that you get from the dentist but it will help!. When I had mine they gave me vicodin and 800mg ibuprofen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OUCH! i would get some advil, aleve, or tylenol or SOMETHING!. heck, even some ice on the side of your mouth will help!.!.!. also, go back to your dentist and ask for some!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
they dont want people to get hooked on drugs so sometimes they dont give out pain medicine!. Use advil/ibuprophen works much better than tylenol!. If it hurts so bad call the dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
