Answers:
Flossing is the only way to physically remove plaque from the sides of your teeth!. Teeth have four sides, not two!. Brushing removes plaque from the two broad sides of your teeth while flossing is a way to "brush" the two thin sides where your teeth touch!.

You do not HAVE to floss in the bathroom!
You do not HAVE to floss only after you brush!

Floss anytime and anywhere you want!
Do it while you are watching TV, when you lie down to go to sleep, or when you take some daily medication(if you have some!.)

This is an anology that I have my patients think of:
Human bodies have two thin sides and two broad sides just like teeth!. When you only brush and do not floss it is like showering and not washing your armpits!.!.!.!.afterall they are the dirtiest things on the two thin sides of your body!.

Just a side note: I am a dental hygienist and I floss, but I HATE FLOSSING TOO! It seems like it takes forever, but in reality it probably only takes about 60-90 seconds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

flossing is not done to get food out off your teeth!.!. it is done to disrupt plaque that harbors between your teeth!.!.!.!. brushing gets plaque and bacteria off the outsides(buccal and lingual) of the teeth and flossing is performed to get them out from between your teeth!.!.!. if you don't like doing it or dont have the room in your mouth then they make dental flossers(like Reach Easy Access Flosser ) that make it easer and quicker to floss your teeth!.!.!. interproximal dental picks are ok to use in between flossing!.!.!. but you cant replace actual flossing!.!.!.!.food doesn't cause cavities it is the bacteria that really enjoy the sugars that you eatWww@Answer-Health@Com

I can tell you that I thought the exact same thing for a long time ( im a teen too ) so i didn't floss for a looooooong time!. I just had x ryas done and my dentist saw a possible 9 fillings that could of been prevented!. they filled 3 and i have a prescription toothpaste now!. I have to get a special floss so it dosent stick to my fillings and i now have to get xrays done EVERY STINKING 6 MONTHS!!!!! they will probably end up doing the other 6 fillings at some point!.

I can tell you from expierence, that if i could go back in time 4 or 5 months, i would floss every chance i gotWww@Answer-Health@Com

There is no replacement to flossing! There are mouthwash companies that will tell you that rinsing with their product is as good as flossing but that is not true!. So, you should listen to your mother!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get a good flavored floss and make it a habit to floss!. It may be hard at first but it will become easier and easier!. I used to HATE flossing but now I floss all the time without a problem!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well!. flossing is done to get rid of extra food that is stuck between yor teeth!. but chewing dentel gum helps get food out of your teeth and cleans your teeth at the same time!. so try chewing that gumWww@Answer-Health@Com

either dont eat foods that get stuck in your teeth or just get into the habbit!. i flossed but i have rubber bands to make space in my teeth so i cant floss!. usually i do thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com

nope!.
everyone loves a piece of broccoli between your teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yep you got to floss, leave it by your bed at night and do it then!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get those little picker things that the dentist uses after they brush your teeth lol!Www@Answer-Health@Com
