Answers:
Hair is just a keratin process, like nails - they're for protection and warmth!. They're constantly growing and being replaced!.

Teeth on the other hand (well not literally), are not regularly replaced and do not repair themselves to a great extent!. They are also more functional - we need them for speech and chewing!.

Because teeth are exposed to whatever we put in our mouths, there needs to be a mechanism to tell us when anything goes wrong, like if there's excessive heat, cold or acid; or infection!. Much as it hurts to get a toothache, your body is letting you know when infection has progressed to the root of the tooth and lets you take action!. Otherwise the infection would keep spreading and could make you even more ill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is a practical value in teeth having nerves--it helps protect you from damaging them, and also helps you recognize when there may be decay so you can see a dentist!.

Since most folks get regular haircuts, this would be painful (or maybe require anesthesia like dental work!?) if our hair had nerves!.

As a person of faith, I like to think that it is all part of God's divine design that works just the way He intended!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Teeth have a blood supply, hair doesn't have a blood supply!. Teeth are generally essential in keeping a person alive, hair isn't essentil for survival!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hair stems from a follicle and teeth stem from nerves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
