Question: How do they put braces on!?
i was going to get braces yesterday but now i am going to get them in a couple of monthes i just need to know how do they put them on!?
and is it normal that they asked me to take my earings out!?

when i got my braces they glued little things on to each of my teeth called brackets!. these are to hold the wire onto my teeth!. then they put a thin wire on the brackets!. last of all they keep the wire on by putting small elastic bands on the brackets to keep the wire in place!.

They force your mouth open really wide with a plastic thing and then fiddle about for around half an hour or so!.
I didn't really know what was going on but by the end my jaw muscles hurt and there was a lot of crap in my mouth!.

they glue a bracket to each tooth, then attach the main wire to each bracket!. that doe'sn't hurt, but then when they tighten the wire, it hurts (aches) for a while!. But that also probably depends on how bad your teeth are!. Mine were quite bad, so maybe hurt more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
