Gum receding on one tooth only. What's going on?!

Question: Gum receding on one tooth only!. What's going on!?
A few weeks ago I noticed that my gumline above one tooth was receding!. I went to a dentist, she did some filling on the side of the tooth, I forgot what its called, and she sent me on my way!. I wasn't too satisfied with her, so I went to another dentist and she told me that my bite pattern was causing that tooth to move slightly so the gum was receding because of that!. That tooth is now sensitive since the root is getting exposed!. Brushing my teeth makes it tingle if I hit it right at the gumline and it is sensitive when eating!. The last dentist I went to gave me a pretty thorough cleaning and I have been brushing 3 times a day (with a brand new soft toothbrush), flossing daily, and using Crest Pro Health (Listerine drys my mouth too much)!. This week I started rinsing my mouth 3 times a day with diluted hydrogen peroxide!. I'm due to go back for a filling in a few days!.

What else can I do to treat my gum!? I don't want to lose the tooth, I'm only 24!

Thank youWww@Answer-Health@Com

Did you have braces!? Sometimes the bands around the teeth can cause slight recession!. Sometimes it can be your "bite" and especially harmful if you grind or clench!. She should have made you a night guard if that was the case!. Just putting a filling over the root surface does not address the cause!. Do you have inflamation and bleeding associated with this!? If not the peroxide will not change anything!. I suggest you get a second opinion!. You can use fluoride rinses for tooth sensitivity such as ACT, or desensitizing toothpastes such as Sensodyne, keeping in mind that these products take some time to work as they need to be absorbed by the root!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

ERICK,
THE RECESSION IS PROBABLY ON YOUR CANINE TOOTH, RIGHT!? IT'S ON ONE SIDE AND NOT THE OTHER, CORRECT!?
THIS IS DUE TO BRUSHING TOO VIGOROUSLY WITH TOO MUCH PRESSURE!. BE MORE GENTLE WHEN BRUSHING AND DO SO WITH A TOOTHPASTE FOR SENSITIVE TEETH LIKE SENSODYNE!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like what my mom had!. Her gumline above one of her teeth was receding!. Dentist told her it was the way that she was brushing!. And it was an easy fix!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure your brushing in a circular downward motion, stop th hydrogen peroxide it demotes tissue growth, stay away from bleaching and tarter control toothpaste which cause sensitivity also bleaching toothpastes are to abrasive to use daily!. The filling that was placed most likely want last for long due to the area its in becausse of there being no way to establish much of a under cut for the retention of a filling to stay in place!. You can ask for a sealant type material to be placed there, for the function of helping control sensitvity there!. Most likely your clenching and grinding your teeth!. Your teeth should really never touch unless your eating or swallowing!. Most people clinch at night while sleeping!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
