Question: With Damon Braces, how wide can they make your palate if your palate is narrow to begin with!?
I've been wearing damon braces for one year now and my teeth are straight but I don't have the wide smile I was hoping for!. In the next 6 monthes, will my palate widen !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

That stuff about Damons is marketing hype!. Damons cannot widen your dental arch anymore than regular braces, and braces don't widen the actual palate!. The palate is bone, and braces only move the teeth!.
Braces can move the teeth further outward on the supporting bone, but the limit depends on how wide your upper jaw is to begin with!. If you naturally have a narrow upper jaw, you will not necessarily get a wide looking smile!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same braces!. I would suggest talking with your orthodontist about it since they are basing the widest on their personal thoughts of how your smile would be perfect to them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
