Answers:
i think in the long run its the inital pain after they first get put on!. they're fine all the time when you've got them and don't hurt at all (unless your wire isn't cut properly and cuts into your cheek like mine did!.!.!.) but the first day after they're fitted, the braces are tight cause they have to pull your jaw in shape and that hurts!.
the retainers afterwards can be annoying
but in the long run im so so so glad i had braces as now my teeth are seriously straight!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well the worst is when you first get them on and your lip isn't used to a piece sticking out so your lip eventually gets cut!.!.!. sometimes the wire in the back comes apart and starts jabbing you in the cheek ouch =x and the worst while being put on is having a wire go up in your lip!.!.!. and having your mouth open for long a period of time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well my sister has braces and from what I learned the worst thing in the long run is just having to take care of them daily and eating!. Sometimes the brackets hurt your lip and gum so you have to wax it!. Now that's tiring!. Probably takes a extra 5 minutes or your dental time to do it!. And eating is hard!. You sometimes have to eat a bit slower!.

While they are being fixed on, I think the hardest part is just the suspense!. You don't know how they are going to look on you, how they are going to feel, and it might hurt a bit!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. The pain after you first get them is bad!. But also, when you start having to wear those little rubber bands on them!. I don't know if they still do that, though!. But that crap made me want to just pull my teeth out and just gum it!

2!. I must have had some bad memories about them being worked on!. Because I can't seem to remember those moments, I must have mentally blocked them out, LOL!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In the long run they may crack your teeth or molars!.
It happened on one of my right molars!.
But they do straighten your teeth it's true!.
Choose the best orthodontist,he better be careful and delicate on you,you have to love your teeth!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
