Question: How long will it take for me to recover fully!?
I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday( they took out some jaw bone too)!. its not really too painful, just kind of a pain in the butt to be so swollen!. I was wondering how long its going to take for me to fully recover!. also, what should i do until then to take good care of myself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whenever the bone is involved, the timing for healing is significantly longer!.
The acute pain and swelling will probably go away in 1 week!. The gums will heal in 3-4 weeks!. The bone will take a couple of months!.
Drink milk, milk, milk: proteins and calcium help you heal!. Also drink 1 glass of orange juice a day (vitamin C helps regenerating the gums)!. If it irritates your gum, take vit C pills instead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, it'll take about four days to a week to feel completely normal!. Did the doctor give you or your parents written directions about how to care for your teeth and mouth!? Read this to find out what to do!. Usually you will have to eat and drink soft foods that aren't too hot or cold or spicy!. You should avoid chewing near the area that they did the surgery on!. Brush gently and also remember to floss your gums!. You might also have to rinse gently with salt water to keep your mouth clean!.
Get lots of rest and don't do any hard exercise for a few days!. If anything strange happens like your mouth is bleeding and it won't stop, call the dentist who did the surgery and they will tell you what to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
