Question: Bad taste in my mouth!?
ok so I took Cipro for a few days last week and then got so caught up with a new job I forgot!. This morning i took one and tonight as i was eating dinner i got a horrible soap/metallic taste in my mouth! brushing my teeth did not help!. I read up on different things it could be!.!.!.side effect of Cipro says bad taste not metallic!. Has anyone who has ever taken Cipro had this experience!? The taste is like soap mixed with metal!. I am 40yrs old, is that old enough to have mercury fillings!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have never taken that but I have taken several meds in the past year that cause bad tast/metallic taste--it is a disgusting taste isn't it!?
Anyways, my doctor finally told me what to do about it last week---drink orange juice before you take the medicine!.
You might try drinking the OJ and see if that helps with the nasty taste in your mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

We are not a doctor -- at lest I am not a doctor!. -- someone else may be!. Your 40 and an adult -- go see the doctor and tell him what you eating for pills!.!.!. They do not use mercury for filling teeth -- I think they use some kind of aluminum alloy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You clearly need to call your doctor for this one!. Usually you can get them to call you back the same day!. Isn't Cipro the treatment for anthrax!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's never a good idea to stop taking an antibiotic and then start again after you forget - it can make you allergic!. Call your doctor and let him know your symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
