Question: What's wrong with my teeth!?
I'm 13 and some of my front teeth are very sensitive to hot and cold foods when i bite or drink them!. I have areas on the outer tips of a lot of my molars and they don't feel as rough as the rest of the tooh but slightly smoother!. Do I have cavitys!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Teeth can become sensitive for a number of reasons!. Whiteners, whitening toothpaste and rinses can all make your teeth sensitive!. Since you mentioned about your molars being "worn" in some places, I would bet that you are grinding your teeth at night!. That will also make teeth sensitive, as well as cause headaches and a sore jaw in the morning!.
Steps to take:
1!. Get a toothpaste for sensitive teeth
2!. Use a fluoride rinse (this strenghtens the teeth)
3!. Go to your dentist!.!.!.if your teeth grinding habit is wearing your teeth already, you probably need a bite guard!.!.!.it is a simple plastic mouthpiece specially molded to fit your teeth!.!.it will protect the surfaces of the teeth as well as damage to your TMJ (jaw joint)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

as you get older your teeth become more sensitive, like when you're a kid and you can bite into ice cream and not feel a thing, whereas with adults it goes through them!.

you might have fluoride problems!.!.!.try to get your parent(s) to buy some toothpaste that helps out with that!. Also if you use teeth whitener that can make it sensitive!. I use that stuff and sometimes i have to take the ice out of my drinks!. As for your molars i dont think you have anything to worry about!. You might want someone to make a dentists appt!. just in case!. If the tooth sensitivity is really bad get your dentist to give you something!. Hope this helped =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may be brushing your teeth too hard!. Make sure you have a soft brush and brush gently!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
