Question: Tooth pain at night!. HELP ME!?
my wisdom tooth is broken and infected!. i have a finals and crap and i cant see my dentist for a few days, i know i have to get it removed!. it is KILLING me!. i am taking ibuprofen(and lots of it) because i am breastfeeding and it is safe to take!. but the effects only last and hour or two!.!.!. so at night i am very very hurting!.!.!.!.!.
is there anything (non drug related) i can do to help me sleep good enough!?!?!.!.!. i need good sleep i have finals!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is the wisdom tooth impacted!? If not, any dentist can extract it for you if it's an emergency!. Just keep calling until you find a dentist who will do it for you!.
Advil or anything with ibuprofen is good to take!. You can also try warm salt water rinses to quell the swelling!. Take a tablespoon or more of salt, mix with cup of warm water and rinse your mouth with it!. The salt will draw water from the wound!.
I am not aware of any repercussions of taking ibuprofen when breast feeding!. I've been in dentistry for 3 years now and I've never heard any dentist or otherwise say no to ibuprofen while breastfeeding!.
Watch what you eat!. Don't eat any sweets or anything that can exacerbate an already painful condition!. Eat soups and soft simple foods like bread and oatmeal!. Drink soymilk, calcium is good for teeth and bones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont think you should be taking Ibuprofen when breast feeding, as far as im aware plain paracetamol is the only thing you can take when pregnant or breast feeding!.

i had the same problem after having my baby i took out my wisdom tooth and it hurt for awhile,i took motrin and it workes well,Www@Answer-Health@Com
