Question: Is it worth getting braces!?
i mean im 12 and i have a lot of teeth to lose still but i heard it hurts to get braces!.!.!.!.!.!.and i have kind of cricked teeth!.!.!.!.not real bad though!.!.!.but is it worth it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should take the advice of an orthodontist as to when you need braces!. A perfect smile is priceless!. Have you ever seen a make over show!. People can get everything done, implants and lipo but when they get their teeth done they almost always cry!. They hid their crooked teeth behind their hands when they laugh or never opened their lips for a nice teethy smile!. They are always ashamed of bad teeth!. Aside from the cosmetics of having nice teeth!. Bad and crooked teeth can cause other issues involving the jaw bone and TMJ!. Talk to your parents and the orthodontist!. definetly get braces!. If i could change when i got mine on i would put the end of eigth grade!. I had to get a "palet expander"!. every night i would have to click it 4 times, and for those of you whove had braces, that initial pain with new wires, well double that and i had that everynight for six months!.I got braces and was like this is nothign, then retainers!. I never wore mine, i actually despised them thinking they were a joke!. Retainers arent a joke and are the most crucial part of wearing braces!. My teeth are now back to how they were before i got braces, and people ask me when i get mine!. It is definetly worth the little pains in the beginning!. You get used to the little nuiescences!. you better prepare for a liquid diet for the first week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, totally worth it!. If you don't get braces, the rest of your friends who did have braces are going to have nice teeth while you won't, all because you didn't want to go through a lot of pain!. Although it is painful at times, I had lots of fun with my braces, especially with the rubber bands! The best part was watching how your teeth are transforming!.
When you get older, believe it or not, guys like smiles!. It's hard for me to think a guy is attractive if his teeth are nasty and crooked!. Jewel is a perfect example: most men and women think she is gorgeous but it's hard not to focus on her snaggle teeth and you just cringe!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, i guess in a way!. but if you think about it this way, would it matter if you had straight teeth when your teeth rot and decay!. if you get braces, you can't eat a lot of sweets or drink soda because your teeth will rot and turn different colors!. but if you can control that and you brush well!.!.!. what the heck, go for it! it doesn't hurt when u get braces but it does ache a little when you get it on and after every tightening!. so good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
i got braces when i still had loose teeth!. what they did to me was they put the brackets on the teeth that were permanent!. then as i lost teeth they put on the brackets!. they don't hurt!. you should do it! but make sure you wear ur retainer after braces because your teeth WILL shift!. trust me!.!.!.i know from personal experience!.
