i have a permident retainer on the back of my lower set of teeth!. Its not excatly braces its more like just the wire!. You forget about it for the most part, and its painless!. They ortho said I could get it off if I wanted to but better to keep it there forever incase my teeth shift!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
