Is my tooth nerve damaged if it's in half?!

Question: Is my tooth nerve damaged if it's in half!?
My good old brother has chipped my front tooth in half!. If it feels REALLY sensitive on the bottom of the remaining top half, does that mean it's nerve dameged!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Not necessarily!.
Fractures are classified into three categories!. The chip can be in enamel alone!. Second the fracture can be through enamel and dentin but not the nerve!. In this case a bonded white filling is needed!. And thirdly, a fracture through the enamel and dentin and the pulp chamber or root canal!. This one will involve needing a root canal or an extraction!.
If it is sensitive, the nerve is still alive!. You want to have it fixed so it won't be sensitive!. Every time you feel something in your nerve it is telling you there is a problem!. Every time you stimulate the nerve you maybe contributing to the nerves ultimate death!.
Get it fixed while the nerve is still alive and healthy!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, most likely the nerve is involved if half of your tooth is gone!. Its sensitive because you are into the area that is no longer enamel!. If the tooth doesn't die now, it very well could die later!. See your dentist ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be not saying it is!. You need to schedule a dentist check up to get it looked at!. They know more and tell you what to do and will fix it up for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
