Can a dentist close my 4mm front tooth gap with bonding, at least partially?!

Question: Can a dentist close my 4mm front tooth gap with bonding, at least partially!?
I have read in other answers about bonding the teeth gaps that for large gaps like mine (about 3!.5mm-4mm) bonding will not work!. Braces/retainers are not an option for me, because I have that skin thing between my front teeth and I don't want a surgery!. I don't want veneers--too pricey for something that is also not 100% permanent, yet damaging for teeth!. My question is, would it be possible to close my gap with bonding at least partially!? Or is there something to the bonding procedure that would make that impossible/prone to fast deterioration of the bonding!? If I could narrow my gap down to at least 2mm I'd feel much more confident about my smile!. I'm in my late 20s!. Please advise! Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are a couple of other factors, but your dentist should be able to close the gap at least a little!. Depending on the size/length of your teeth, if your dentist tries to close the gap too much, your front teeth may look "too wide" compared to your other teeth!. Also, if your lower teeth hit right up against where the bonding would be, that may limit the amount that can be added!.

BTW, the surgery to remove the frenum (skin between your teeth) really isn't a big deal!. If you are in your 20s, ortho/braces would probably be a better way to go!.

The bonding doesn't always last too long, and may need to be redone every so often!.

Hope that helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The use of a Composite material (called tooth restoration) can help build up existing teeth to help close in the gap!. I've had it done to a few of my teeth to help fill out my teeth as a couple of them were a bit smaller than the others, so now they look completely straight!. No braces, and very little money!.

Plus it was covered under my dental plan!. Going to a regular dentist is your best option!.!.!. if you go to a cosmetic dentist, they're just going to try to sell you on something much more expensive!.

Composite is what they use is you chip a tooth!.!.!. it bonds to your tooth with little abrasion required (not like with caps, where they file your natural tooth down to a pin)

THE SMALL SURGICAL PROCEDURE IS CALLED A LABIAL FRENECTOMY AND TAKES ABOUT 10 MINUTES WITH A SIMPLE ANESTHETIC!.
BRACES THEN ARE THE BEST OPTION!.
A BONDING TO CLOSE SUCH A WIDE SPACE WILL GIVE YOU 'BUGS BUNNY' TEETH THAT ARE TOO WIDE!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would think that you would be a perfect candidate for composite bonding!. Have you consulted with a dentist yet!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bonding isn't 100% permanent either!.!.!. and it ends up looking REALLY bad after a while because it gets see-through and very discolored!. I had bonding done on half of my 2 front teeth after cracking them off in a roller-skating accident when I was 8!. I just got veneers put on because the bonding was making my teeth look yellow and translucent!.

Honestly, the surgery is nothing!. Many times it's done with a laser tool and there is almost no bleeding!.

For the cost, I'd honestly just get the veneers done on your top teeth!. They last about 10 years and you'll have plenty of time to save for the next ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
