i got mine recently and what they do is they put some special glue on your teeth that holds the braces, the glue hardens with this blue light!. about the metal braces your orthodontist will give you the type of braces that you would need more!. after you got your braces you should eat soft food and not hard food!.
other: if some of the wire is scratching against your cheeks put some wax on the wires, this will stop the wire interacting with your cheeks!. (your orthodontis should provide you with the wax)Www@Answer-Health@Com
