I've got braces, and trust me!.!.!.!. they don't hurt while your getting them put on and only hurt for a bit afterwards!.
They don't give you any injections, they just put glue on your teeth (not that nice tasting lol) and then stick the brackets on!.
I don't think you can have no colours because the couloured bit is a band that holds the wire on, but I could be wrong!.
It doesn't hurt while there being done, and will only hurt for a few days afterwards as your teeth get used to them and then only when theu get tightened!.
Anything soft!.!.!. i had lots of mashed potato and pasta!.
I don't know about spaces!.
That's all good!.!.!. and trust me i thought they would look TERRIBLE but they actually don't look that bad (and that's not just what I think, other people have said that aswell lol!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had spacers a month before my braces were "installed"!. During the process of getting the braces, you'll have a mold put in your mouth and it will stay there for what seems like forever but is really maybe five minutes!. Expect the first visit to take about 2 hours or so!. You should be given a list of acceptable foods to eat or definitely those that you should not eat!. You might have a mild headache during the first 24 hours after your braces have been put on, but you will get used to the pressure and you'll have no more headaches!. No other pain that I can think of!. The end result will be worth all you go through, trust me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
