Just got a partial root canal, why is my jaw swelling again? I am going back to !
Question: Just got a partial root canal, why is my jaw swelling again!? I am going back to the dentist soon!.!.!.!?
My dentist wanted to give me the root canal and fill it the same day, but apparently my mesial buccal root was too tight from my abscess so he medicated and filled it temporarily I think hoping it would soften up!. A day later now and there is a swollen knot along my jaw under the tooth, like I've had before when my abscess was in full swing!. What should I do!? I still have some amoxycillin, should I take that until they tell me when to come back!? or is this a more serious issue!? I'm reading so much scary crap on here I'm kinda getting worried about having a root canal at all!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yuck, I had one root canal and that happened, I was nursing and could not take anything for the pain, after 3 days of being in so much pain that I couldn't sleep I called my dentist!. It was a Sunday night, thankfully he had an answering service, but he told me to come in first thing before his office opened and he injected it with pain killer that lasted all day long! I think I fell in love!.!.lol he told me that sometimes when you can break up the something then that sometimes causes it to stop hurting!. It worked! I was so glad!. Don't get me wrong it still hurt a little but he gave me more antibiotics and within a few days I was all better!. I hope you get it well soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
