Question: A doctor you couldn't get an answer from!?
My husband had his wisdom tooth pulled earlier today (7pm) to be exact!. It is now 12AM, and the bleeding has not stopped!. My husband has told me that he has asked questions to the doctor, but he didn't seem to answer them!. 4 hours of bleeding!? I've had several friends who have had their wisdoms pulled and never have bled this long!. The doctor just gave my husband a sheet of paper saying what NOT to do (smoke, drink soda, spit)!.!.but nothing else!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is possible to bleed for a few hours after extraction!. However if it continues for too long you can go back to the dentist to see if it can be stopped!. Spotted blood on a pillow is also common!.

ACTIVE BLEEDING SHOULD COME TO A HALT WITHIN 30 MINUTES WHEN CONSTANT PRESSURE IS APPLIED!.

My brother had his wisdom tooth pulled out and bled for days!. Even during his sleep, he would bleed!. Thankfully, I didn't bleed much if at all!. It really does depend on the person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
mine bled for 2 days!. keep gauze on and do not take out everytime you pull the gauze off your pulling the clot off to so therefor it bleeds againWww@Answer-Health@Com
