Answers:
After you get your braces off, your teeth feel "slick" and your gums are sometimes puffy/swollen!. Do brush your gums gently (like you're massaging them) with your toothbrush, this will help the swelling go down!. Be careful eating anything that's got a coating on it (deep fried foods) or chips--this can get up under your gums and cause more swelling! Warm salt water rinses are good also!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just got mine off about 3 months ago, and I had the same thing!. Just brush your teeth and they will eventually recede after a week or so!. DO NOT BRUSH THE GUMS!. Just brush the teeth UP TO the gum line!.

It's kind of annoying for a while, but it feels so great once your teeth are normal, especially after having braces for about 2 years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If I understood clearly you have put your orthodontic appliance off!. So it's almost common that it happens, but I advise you to submit yourself to a gum treatment, teeth whitening and dental floss use daily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it is normal to have your gums look a little puffy!., Sometimes it may not go away due to excessive tissue when moving the teeth!. Then a gingivectomy needs to be done to remove excess tissueWww@Answer-Health@Com

your gums are not inflated and your teeth are not big, you just have to get used to the feeling in your mouth without the braces!. Give it a couple days, you'll be fineWww@Answer-Health@Com
