Gaps, braces not an option, help!?!

Question: Gaps, braces not an option, help!!?
Okay so here's the deal
I have HORRIBLE gaps in my teeth, like they are so crooked and spaced out!.
I went today for a consultation with my orthodontist, and he said that braces are out of the question for another 2-3 years
I'm already 14, I don't want to be a senior in highschool and still wearing braces!
Is there any sort of cosmetic procedure I can get done to fix my spacing!? I'm willing to do anything at this point to get my teeth fixed (waiting the 2-3 years is also not an option, I need them fixed soon or I risk losing my career)
I was looking at bonding, but I don't know how long that would last!.
I have an underbite, so i'm afraid if I get veneers I will always be biting them off and I can't afford to keep getting them redone!.
Any and all help is appriciated :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Consider Composite Bonding!. It is a more affordable alternative to Veneers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

porcelein veneers is all i know of!.
i have the oppsosite problem with my front two teeth and im wondering what to do myself cuz im already in highschool and dont really want to go through braces again (partially because of a traumatic experience with orthodontist)

you probably should also go to a few other orthodontist for opinions first!. some do things differently than othersWww@Answer-Health@Com

How will it ruin your career!? You're only 14!. A lot of kids have braces at 16!. Are you a model!? A model with crooked teeth!? That doesn't make sense!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get veneersWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you have an under-bite, you are going to NEED an orthodontist to correct your bite!. It is very important!. It will help you avoid painful jaw problems, such as TMJ Syndrome, as well as possible broken teeth from having too many pounds of pressure on the wrong teeth, since your bite is not lined up correctly!.
Veneers are a quick cosmetic fix, but will not fix your bite!. At your young age, preserving the teeth you have, and correcting your bite is a better choice!. I'm not sure I see what waiting two years is going to do, unless all your second teeth aren't in yet!. I was out of braces by age 15!.
I would still try to go to another orthodontist and get a second opinion!. Always get a second opinion if you don't like the first one!. Life is too short to wander around in misery!. In fact, when I was young, the orthodontist told me that it was GOOD that I went to see him for expanders and braces when I was a young age for some reason!. I started at age 8, with expanders, and my 12 year molars didn't even come in 'til I was 18 or 19!. I had some front braces at age 9, and then wore removable retainers until I was 13 or 14!. when they did the regular braces, which they took off right before I turned 15!. I think the younger you are when you get dental procedures, the better!. You heal faster when you are a teen!. I really wish I had gotten my wisdom teeth out, too, when I was a teen instead of waiting until I was old and I ended up with cysts!. But, yeah, you should find another orthodontist!. Also, if you did lose two front teeth for any reason, you can get false ones that are anchored into place!. My boyfriend's older brother got his front teeth knocked out in a sport, and he had some put in!. They look real!. My sister also had a miniature tooth that was very weak, and they did her other teeth with expanders and braces!. She was out of braces by age 15, too!. They covered that weak tooth later with a porcelain one that looks like her other teeth!. There are options, I really believe you just have to find the right person to help you!. Make sure that person is an orthodontist, because of your bite problem, and make sure the orthodontist is a good one!. Having jaw problems later in life is no fun!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
