Question: After getting braces, tongue hurts!?
Hi y'all!. I just got braces 2 days ago, and the bottom of my mouth hurts like crazy!. I don't know if any of the braces are rubbing against it, but it doesn't feel like it since its the bottom of my mouth!. It also hurts if I move my tongue at all, anyone having tips!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

My daughter got her braces on in March!. She we miserable for about a week or so!. Her whole mouth hurt!. She could not even open her mouth very wide!.She ate alot of soft foods and gargled with salt water!. She has recently had them tighten and this time it wasn't as bad!. Give it a few more days and if you are still uncomfortable I would give your ortho a call and let them know how you feel!. It does get better and you will be so happy when it's all said and done and have a beautiful smile!.

I too had braces!. U usually get used to pain after few days so much so that u don't feel it always!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
