That happens to me sometimes, but usually it is because I'm having sinus trouble!. It only happens on the teeth on the upper jaw (I've had root canals on upper and lower jaws)!. My dentist says that can happen!. Do check with your dentist about this, though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the root canal was done properly then you should have no sensation in the tooth whatsoever!. It's very possible that the root canal treatment has failed and may need to be retreated!. You should definitely contact the dentist who did the root canal!. Also aspirin isn't the best for a toothache, try ibuprofen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

idk - i have a tooth that has a root canal done on it but did not get it crowned right away!. sometimes it hurts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
