Dentist issues?!
Question: Dentist issues!?
So i got my braces done ,but i feel my dentist has done a tedious job , when i ask her for explainations she gets annoyed and gives me vagues answer !!!
Are these wires supposed to be locked in the rings or just left in the loop unfolded !?
she had left it unfolded and sharp edges of the wires damaged my cheeks n then when i complained about it she chopped those sharp edges and now its hidden in the loop!.
Its been over a month n a half i see very little changes !. she asked me to be patient [:|] doesnt make any sense !.
to top it all I found this dentist on the internet which was the biggest blunder , although i just went there to enquire ,but she convinced me to get it done on the same day , she also gave me installments option which sounded good then ( 2 installs of 3000 paid already)
has anyone experinced the same situation !?

To answer one of your questions, when you have braces, you will not notice immediate changes!. The average ortho case takes about 2 yrs, and that is because teeth need to be moved slowly!. If they are moved too fast, your roots will resorb and that is not good (will cause other problems)!. So, the fact that you don't notice anything after 1!.5 months is normal!.
The situation you described about the wire poking you sounds normal as well!. If it was too long, they normally will just cut the end off!.
As for your dentist not answering your questions, that is not too good!. Even when she is busy, she should still make time to answer all of your questions!.
It sounds like your orthodontist is very busy and sees as many patients as possible, which makes her very productive I'm sure, but she should still make time to answer your questions!.
If you have doubts about the dentist, you can ask other patients when you are waiting!? And her assistants likely can answer some of the questions you have regarding your treatment!.
