For those who are wearing retainers?!

Question: For those who are wearing retainers!?
Ok, I just got my retainers today, and I never knew I was supposed to clean them, so:
1) What do you clean them with!?
2) After cleaning them, do you dry them with a towel!?

Thanks for answering! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've had a retainer for a long time (like 5 or 6 years) and i usually just brush mine every time i brush my teeth!. i also soak them in one of those denture cleaner fizzy things or peroxide and water every so often!. mine still looks almost new!. if yours should get really gross you should be able to take it into your ortho office and they have a thing that cleans them!. as far as drying it doesn't matter!. use the towel if you want to or just pop it back in your mouth after you rinse it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son wears a retainer, brush them with your toothbrush and toothpaste and rinse! you can just put them in the case afterwards, don't forget to put the wax on them so they don't tear up your gums, hopefully your orthodontist gave you some wax, if not, you can get it at the pharmacyWww@Answer-Health@Com

Just put a little toothpaste on a small toothbrush (you must have gotten a couple when you had your braces put on!. If you don't have them, your regular toothbrush will be fine) and brush away - but carefully!. You don't have to dry it!. Just pop it back in your mouth or put it back in the case!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it isn't too hard, just scrub em with a soft bristle tooth brush, and tooth paste!. Then u can pat them dry with a towel!. Just make sure u keep wearing them, u don't want to be like me and have ur teeth shift backWww@Answer-Health@Com
