Question: Just got my wisdom teeth removed (2 days ago)!?
how long did it take you to recover!? I'm still swelling but it doesn't really hurt!. Also, how old were you when you got them removed!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It should recover within 2 weeks for the swelling to go down, and about a week for the pain to go away if any!. Make sure you keep it clean and rinse out with some anti bacteria or medicated mouthwash which you can get at your dentist!. I dont know how old you are but if your a smoker, do not smoke, this will cause dry socket!. Anyways, you will be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was sixteen and it took me about two weeks for it to not hurt as bad!. The serious pain stopped after about a week, but the swelling didn't go down for about two and a half weeks!. I had one side heal too fast and it had a fluid bubble in it and I had to go have it cut open!. It really sucked bc it was the summer before my senior yr in HS, so i had senior pics scheduled for a week after the surgery and had to reschedule for two weeks after my surgery bc I was still really swollen!. You can actually still kinda see the swelling in the pics!. Whatever you do, remember that not everything can go in the blender, this includes pizza, anything by chefboyardee, and mac and cheese!.!.!. just stick to soup, oatmeal, soft stuff (I only know from experience)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had all 4 pulled in December!.and the swelling was down within a week (maybe 4-5 days)!. I went back to work 2 days later and was still swollen!.

I don't think it hurt (I never took the pain meds they gave me, just Ibuprophen), however I hated the first day when I had to constantly remove the icky gauze (gross!)

As for my age, let's just say I was a little old to be getting my wisdom out :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got mine this past thanksgiving vacation!. I was 17 I had a lot of ice on there and i was fine the 3rd day after enough to do my regular daily activites!. maybe not as comfortably as before but it really just takes patience!. it will go away before you know it!.!.!.!.I even ended up with dry socketsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Generally wisdom teeth can erupt at any time between 17 to 25 years and rarely beyond 25 years also!
All wisdom teeth need not be removed!.
And in case of an extraction it may take about a week to 10 days to recover!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

about 2 days for the taste of blood to go away, but only took a week or 2 for it to heal up enough to not think about eating carefully!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
