Question: Why do I feel ill after I get my braces tightened!?
I am experiences symptoms such as sore throat, and a mild headache that won't go away!.!. My teeth obviously are in pain, but why does the rest of my body feel so off!?

It's just because of the pain from your teeth - pain in general makes people feel generally crappy, and if the pain from your teeth is stopping you from being able to eat and sleep as normal (which I know it did when I had braces and had them tightened) then that will affect how you feel as well!. I wouldn't worry about it, just take some painkillers and try to get some rest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you use some pain releavers, it can sometimes cause symtoms!. ask your orthodontist and see if he uses anything different on your teeth that may cause symptoms!. if he/she doesn't, ask your doctor!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
