I'm trying to covince my parents about getting me braces !
I want them so baddddd !.
People say they suck and they're annoying!. Others dont !.
I, honestly, don't care how they will look or feel, because in the end they will be helping me, not hurting me !.

I'm glad that you are interested in getting braces, because it is a very good thing!. They are really good about straightening your teeth, but the only bad thing about them is that when you are eating, things get stuck in your teeth a lot, but you get used to knowing how to take things out!.
They don't necessarily hurt you!. Only for the first couple of days that you get braces, and about one or two days after each adjustment!. When you go for your adjustment, they thicken the type of wire that you use, so it does hurt a little!.
They cost about a couple thousand dollars, i'm not really sure how much mine cost, but there are different payment methods sometimes!. You can divide the payments, monthly, or you can pay it all at once, or break it down into several payments!.
Depending on your insurance, I'm not sure if it will be covered!.!.!.
The average time spent with braces is about two years, but it depends for every person, depending on their teeth!. I have had mine for a year and four months:)

If you are living in the UK, you can't get braces now unless your under 17 and have horrible crooked teeth which may effect you when you older!. It's free on the NHS
If you are 18+, then be prepare to pay over 1,000k+ for braces, minsus the dental cost for checkup and such!.

Oh and when you get braces be prepared to carry mirrors with you especially if you decide to eat out, and don't chew gum!. Also your going to get cuts on the inner layer skin of you top and bottom mouth and tongue as the braces cuts there and it's very sore!. Can you tolerate pain!?

Well around where I live I know for a fact that they can cost between $2,500 and $3,500 but you can pay for them in monthly payments!. This is without insurance!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. if you do have insurance, I am sure that they will cover a good amount!. And your monthly payment would be much much less!. How long would you keep them on!? I say that if your teeth arent that misaligned it should take just about 1 year!. If they are worse than anytime between 1 and 2 1/2 years!.

The cost varies according to how much work you need to have done, how much your orthodontist charges and how long it will take!. Most of them have payment plans!. Different ins!. companies have different coverage!. You have to check your policy!.
Your parents definitely should get you braces if you need them because it can avoid problems with your teeth later in life!.
