I'm getting my braces next monday..?!
Question: I'm getting my braces next monday!.!.!?
1-are you allowed to choose if you just get the elastics on the little part thing that is like, glued to your teeth!? and can you choose if you want the elastic that goes all around your braces, over the wires too!?
2-does any of that cost any extra!?
3- how much does it hurt to get them tightened and for how long!?
4- if you have a tooth removed at the bottom front of your mouth to make more space for your teeth before you get braces, does it take long for that gap to close up, and is it noticable!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i just got mine off!
im not sure what ya mean by question 1!. you cant choose what type of brace they put on, its just the type than you ned for your teeth to be sorted!. the only thing you can choose it the colour of the little elastic bands they put on!

it kind of ached me for a few hours, but not bad at all!. it hurts different people differently tho, when they first put it on it will be worse than how it will me the rest of the tim!.
ermm, it may take 6 months to a year!. thats how long some of mine took to move, and it is kind of noticable!. you just notice and you like oh yay!! but you cant feel them moving or anything!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. !. On the elastics that are glued to your teeth, everyone gets them and you'll get to choose what color you want those to be(i choose clear)!. For the elastics all around your braces, you'll get those probably if you have an overbite,
2!. The cost should be included!.
3!. It's not going to hurt the first day!. However after that the first week you'll be sore and won't be able to eat any hard foods!.
4!.The gap will be noticeable, but over time will close up!. Hey that's how why you got braces!.
Just think of the end result, and for the first week rinse your mouth with listerine to get food out in between your braces!. After about the the the first week, you won't even feel them anymore and will be able to brush!.
Usually at your second appointment you'll have them tightened and it will hurt, but willl go away!.

1!. your supposed to pick a color for the rubber bands around the brackets!. and in the beginning, you only have them around the brackets, but i think that after a while, they put them over the wires!.
