Filling fell out, dentist will drill larger hole?!

Question: Filling fell out, dentist will drill larger hole!?
A filling in my tooth fell out when eating something hard!. The tooth doesn't feel anything!. I hesitate to see a dentist to get a new filling because whenever this happens, the dentist will drill the cavity larger in order to put new filling!. As you can imagine, the result will be the cavity gets larger and larger (since some day in future the filling will fall out again)!. Not to mention one X-ray after another is not a good idea!. What are your thoughts on this!? Would it be OK not to have a new filling and just be careful with that tooth!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
well, sooner or later you'll have to see a dentist for that tooth, so why not now!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I seriously doubt the dentist will have to drill a larger hole!. In fact it was probably just the combination of your eating something hard or stick and the resin not being completely bonded, more than likely from there being moisture when it was bonded originally!. The best way is to just go see the dentist, because ultimately, even if he does have to drill again, it is better to have your tooth drilled than to have no tooth at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

YOu need to go see dentist asap and they will just fill it again!. if you wwait more than a few days tooth will start to decay and if you go without filling it at all if will eventually break probobly to the gum line or in half and then will not be fixable at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

With out a filling your tooth will continue to decay resulting in a permanent tooth loss!. Also the same thing happened to me and half of my tooth ended up breaking!. Go see a dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
