How long should pain and bad breath last following minor dental surgery?!

Question: How long should pain and bad breath last following minor dental surgery!?
Had a fair bit of dental work done on Monday (12th May) wisdom tooth taken out, 3 silver fillings replaced with ceramic ones & my two lower dead & discoloured teeth removed (number 1s i think for all you clever dentists!) in prep for implants!. All done under local anaes! Naturally its difficult to eat and am in pain but taking diclofenac!. Am also having to wear a temp brace where I have no teeth to allow the bone to grow back for pending implant work (also v!.painful)!. I had a low lying infection under the two dead teeth for many years but nothing for my dentists to worry about!. however, my partner says I now have slight halitosis!. Is this because the infection is clearing up or fact that my mouth is so dry all the time!. Am always rinsing with warm salt water and Dentyl pH mouthwash (i've never had bad breath and this is worrying!!) Please help!. Whats going on!?!? And how long should all this pain last for!?

Thank you all in advance for any useful advice and explanations! :-(Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
anywhere from 3 days to a week!. It's because of the dental work they did and your dry mouth!. It will go away!. They had to take out the teeth that had decay underneath so now it's coming out (the smell of the infection)!. it will soon pass!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow!

You've been through it, haven't you!?

I'm certain that the pain will go for what has currently happened soon, just be prepared that as you have more surgery to go you will have more pain later on!.

You won't be going through all this for nothing, and it'll be worth it for sure!.

Stick with it, be brave, and in a month you'll have shiny sparkling gnashers!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
