Answers:
Orthodontists are dentists who specialize in correcting your bite!. They use many of the same instruments, but because they practice from referrals from general dentists, they can not do any work on your teeth that falls under the heading "restorative"!. They will work with your dentist recommending extractions or fillings/crowns that are needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

More extensive training is required for orthodonists!. Don't worry, orthodonists don't fill teeth or do root cannels!. Braces hurt some, but not too bad so don't worry!. Braces can actually help prevent future dental work, but be prepared to wear a retainer for the rest of your life to keep your teeth straight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Orthodontists straigten your teeth out, dentists are concerned about the health of your teeth and gums!. Orthodontists don't use drills or picks, but they do use appliances like braces to correct overbites, underbites, crooked teeth, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I hate my dentist and my orthodontist is great!.
They don't scare me because they don't have needles, drills etc and they are really friendly!. (Well my ones are)!.
Their treatment doesn't really hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Orthodontists do retainers, braces, headgear etc!. They fix your teeth if there is a problem(crooked, overbite, underbite, etc!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

orthodontist make your teeth straight and dentist clean your teeth and make sure they are cleanWww@Answer-Health@Com
