How long does it take for your gums to close after getting a tooth pulled?!

Question: How long does it take for your gums to close after getting a tooth pulled!?
Answers:
Yes, it does vary between individuals, also it depends on how easy or difficult it was to remove the tooth!.

In general, younger people heal faster than older people; if it was a baby tooth, it will close up in probably less than a week!.

If the tooth came out in one piece, it will close up faster than if the dentist had to flap your gums away, remove bone, section the tooth, or other things to remove it!.

If you are an adult, the gums should close over the hole in a couple of weeks, but it is not common to see patients with post operative problems after about a week!.

After the gum closes over however, it will take the bone about 6 months (or more) to fill in and fully heal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a tooth pulled on March 14th and it still has not completely closed yet!. I think it is different for each person!. Rinse with a lot of salt water and that is supposed to speed up the healing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
