I healed up super fast (eating normally in just a few days) but I had a mouthful of blood hours after the extraction!.

My bleeding didn't stop til the next morning!. I changed the gauze after the first hour or so, then after another few hours!. The last set of gauze I had in I bit down and kept solid pressure on the wounds, and that slowed the bleeding considerably!.

It's perfectly normal to continue bleeding a little for 24 hours!. After that, if you still are, the advice already given concerning biting on a tea bag is great advice, but definitely give your oral surgeon's office a call and see if they have advice as well!.

DO NOT gargle salt water!!! You MUST wait until 24 hours after surgery, and after that GENTLY rinse your mouth with warm salt water (1/8 tsp to 8 oz of warm water)!. DO NOT spit out the water, just let it run out of your mouth to avoid dislodging the blood clot!. Do, however, rinse with salt water after every meal, up to 6 times a day, GENTLY for at least 5 days!.

Don't Worry!! It's okay and you'll be just fine soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put a piece of cotton wool in the hole!. It is quite normal for bleeding to continue for a few hours!. A pulled tooth is not really unlike a cut on the hand which will also bleed for some time before gelling!. However, if there is still bleeding in the morning, pop along and consult the dentist!. But I very much doubt this will happen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

continue biting on the gauze, try ice packs, this helped my bleeding to stop!. if you are still bleeding in the morning, id call my dentist to see whats up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
