Question: Having wisdom teeth extracted later today!?
I'm petrified!. I'm having all 4 taken out plus one other bad tooth!. They are putting me to sleep!. How many days does it normally hurt for!? I can't take pain pills, I can only take liquid medicine, I have tylenol with codiene right now but it doesn't do much for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had my removed also plus 2 others in back i was also put to sleep!. for that first day i didn't feel any pain until late that night and it wasn't a pain that i couldn't handle!. your mouth will most likely swell and around your cheeks!. i remember the discomfort may have lasted 2 to 3 days but it is not all that bad!. and as for the medication situation i would let your Dentist know that you cant take pills and he or she can prescribe you something else rather than the Tylenol with codeine!. just make sure you tell them that the Tylenol is not helping!. oh and when you start feeling any discomfort make sure you take what ever your doc prescribes you dont wait until the pain gets to uncomfortable!. that way you will not feel any bad pain at all!. oh I am so sorry, if you can't take pain pills you are gonna hurt!! When my sister had hers cut out it lasted for about a 4 days!. Its kinda unusual though that they are doing all four in one day cause usually they only do one, two at most in one day so you are still able to somewhat eat!. it will hurt a good amount for about 4 days then it will slack off, if there was nerve damage it will hurt a day or so longer!. you just have to wait it outWww@Answer-Health@Com
