i have wisdom tooth infection and still have pain should it not have gone by now if not when will it go!? dentist wont take it out eitherWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes the antibiotic just isn't strong enough to wipe out the infection!. When I had an infection in my tooth/gum, my Dentist hit me with a really strong antibiotic that I took in large amounts for three days, then, the rest over the next week!. They wont remove the tooth when there is an infection!. The infection needs to be cleared up first!.

If the antibiotics haven't cleared your infection up, you need to go back to the dentist!. They either need to keep you on that antibiotic for a while longer or switch you to another antibiotic that might work better for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
if its been more than 2 weeks its been 2 long for the pain!. also the dentist should take them out i just had mine taken out befor they really needed so they would not get infected!. you should really talk to the dentist and get them removed!.

Sometimes is a lag behind effect!. If pain doesnt start subsiding in the next 2 days i'd ring the dentist and get in as an emergency!.

Take diclofenac afterwards and gargle your mouth with chamomile tea!. You may also take the homeopathic Arnica X6 globules (3 every hour)!. And change your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Call your dentist and get a different antibiotic if the infection is still there!. Swish some warm salt water in your mouth!. It will soothe the pain!. Take some Advil as directed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
