Answers:
Valium is not a pain realiver at all!.!.!.They should have sent you home with some Vicodine which is a typical pain reliever for having teeth pulled!. Second Valium is a sedative used to treat muscle spasms, aka, muscle relaxant, it is also used as an anti- anxiety medicine!.

Gargle with warm water and salt!. that will help with the bleeding!. Also a tea bag is used to draw out any poisons that may be causing you pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes and no!. Valium, or diazepam, is a benzodiazapine; better known as a depressant!. It will basically make you feel very relaxed and sleepy!. You definitely shouldn't operate a motor vehicle or heavy machinery!. I've taken Xanax (similar drug) and it made me feel drunk, really!. So it may numb things up a bit, but more likely you'll just take a nap!. Your dentist should've given you a script for something a bit stronger like Vicodin!. Hope you feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

put ice on it and call your surgeon!. tell them the ibuprofen isnt helping!. NEVER take drugs that weren't persribed for use right now, and NEVER mix drugs without your doctor telling you to! you could have a complication that needs medical attention!. or maybe you aren't responding to ibuprofen for some reason!. or maybe you're just a wimp :) you should call your doc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

are you serious!!? I had my wisdom teeth cut out, one was rooted into my jaw bone! I never took any kind of pain killer!.!.!.!.!.!.

the best medicine is meditation!. It only hurts if you expect it to!. Also, some drugs are blood thinners and can make the bleeding worse and even make it take longer to heal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They only gave you ibuprofen!?!?!? When I had mine out they put me on Vicodin!.!.when I got dry sockets the vicodin didn't touch the pain so my actual doctor put me on Tramadol which they said is good for oral pain while Vicodin is not!. Are you putting ice packs or heating pads on it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Valium does nothing for pain!. However if you take enough, you might not care any more!.!.!. lol!. The best thing to do would probably be to call the office back, and ask about other pain relief options!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Valium is a tranquilizer, not a pain reliever!. Call your dentist/dental surgeon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't take anything not recommended by your doctor/dentist!.

I don't think Valium effects pain, does it!? I could be wrong, but I always thought it was for mood!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I took them 1 hour before I had the teeth removed, and then vicadin on top of those!. It won't take away the pain, just make you feel woozy!. The vicadin takes the pain away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No help for the pain but it will make you sleep!. That could help you forget about it for a while!. The dentist gave me ibuprofen 800 they didn't work very well ether!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, but if your doc gave you pain pills, it would amplify them!. If he didn't, it would only make you feel good about having no wisdom teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was given valium while my teeth were being taken out!. there was no pain afterword!. although i did cry about everything till it wore off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sorry, Valium isn't a pain reliever!. Need to call your dentist back and ask for some help with the pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Valium is not a pain reliever!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Valium does nothing for pain, but it will certainly relax you, or put you to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
