What is the process of having a root canal filled?!
Question: What is the process of having a root canal filled!?
Answers:
A root canal comes in two phases!. First, access!. This is where the canals are located, irrigated with a sterilizing solution!. Next is shaping!. The canals are shaped int a tapered system with the end of the root being the small end!. Next, gutta percha cones of some type are placed!. (there are many techniques for this) The purpose is to create a three dimensional fill that is hydrodynamic so no further infection can find its way down the root!. At the end of the procedure, everything is about the same as before the infection!. This is very technical for the dentist, but your job is to simply open your mouth, stay open and don't move!.
