I have some plaque and tarter buildup on my teeth!. I tried to remove it right now using a dental pick some came off but it was hard like teeth material do you think it was teeth that came off or am i at any risk of my teeth falling please help im scared!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most likely it was calculas that came off and not tooth surface!. Calculas/tartar is hardened plaque and it will feel hard when it comes off!. It usually will crumble if you put pressure on it!. Enamel is the hardest substance in your body and it would remain solid if squeezed!. You would have a curved our area present on your tooth if you removed enamel!. If your tooth still looks smooth with no knotches and it is not sensitive to touch the tooth, then I'm pretty sure you are fine!. I would schedule a cleaning appointment if its been longer than 6 months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Tarter can be hard and even discolored!. I would recommend getting some tarter/ plaque mouthwash and try using that to soften it, then brushing it off as much off as possible!.
If your tooth is hurting now that the part came off, I would recommend seeing your dentist!.
Don't forget to get your regular cleanings every 6months!. You can get them every 3months if you prefer, especially if you are in braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
