if they haven't asked you to go for a cleaning, they probably will ask you know
(they put something in your mouth so they can see the teeth and you won't close it)
they will apply this glue to every single part of the teeth, and thats where the main brackets are going to be!.!.!.!.
then they apply the wire, and once it is in, they will clip of the extra parts at the end so it doesn't bother you
getting it on isn't the painful part
every month or 6 weeks they are going to tighten it to you, which is the painful part, but it usually last around 2-3 days and then your teeth are adjusted to them
getting them off, is partically like getting them on, except in reverse order!.!.!.
they take out the wire
then they take out the metal pieces

Off, not sure yet!.
But on, they just put some NASTY goo on your teeth, and
then place the brackets there and hold them for a few seconds!.
None of this hurts, And it's very quick too!.
and btw, the first few weeks the braces are going to look
weird!. This is bc the teeth aren't lined up yet and it's
gonna look REALLY bad!.
But after 2-3 weeks, you'll look fine!

Getting braces is weird!. Getting them off is weird!. No real pain is involved with either!. Having them tightened each month is another story!. This does cause some discomfort as your teeth are moving into a new position!. Just take some paracetamol and things will be OK!. The end result is worth it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
