Question: Both sides of my jaw hurts when i bite down or put pressure on it!.!.TMJ!?
the pain started yesterday!.!. im going to the dentist 2morrow, but iwas reading online and saw something about TMJ !? if i do have TMJ!.!. what would the dentist do 4 me!?!. !. if its not TMJ what else could it be!? !.!. any opinions would be helpful!.!.!.

it could be TMJ or it could be that you are a jaw clencher or teeth grinder!. either way, a dentist can make you an appliance to help with these problems!. TMJ can get worse resulting in needing surgery and teeth grinding can get worse as well!. in very extreme cases, you could need root canals and caps when you grinded your teeth so bad that you wore them down so bad!. your dentist can tell if you have TMJ and if you grind!. goodluck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
