my dentist recommends a mixture of baking soda & hydrogen peroxide!. put the soda in the palm of your hand & add just a few drops of peroxide!.
brush w/ this & it whitens the teeth & helps the gums stay healthy!. just don't use it every day (1-2x week) or you can scrub the enamel too hard!.

What is 'soda bread'!?PLEASE fill me in on this one!!I DO KNOW that the 'rind' of a lemon will help whiten them(just like the rind WILL whiten your fingernails)!.My dentist told me that back in the 70's!.I'm 48,and I can remember things VIVIDLY from back when I was as young as 8 tears old,and I remember my grandmother using BAKING SODA then!!!!She lived to be 90 & had her own teeth until she was 82!.So ,I DO KNOW baking soda obviously not only whitens teeth,but it must also be good for the gums!.And when you brush your tongue,notice the difference in your breath!!!She also ran that brush over the roof of her mouth,saying to me,if it's on & in-between your teeth,and your tongue,also,would it not make sense to know it is in the roof of your mouth ,also!?!?!? And now that I'm grown,it makes PERFECT SENSE,doesn't it!?The way it makes your mouth feel is unreal!.The feeling & the smell!.BETTER than any mouthwash,just about,that I have EVER USED!.My grandnother must have known way back then what they are just now-in the last few years- finding our & informing us (American Dental Association & the Centers For Disease Control)!.I know that was not your question,but I thought would be helpful!. Because YES,YES,YES,baking soda & lemon juice & lemon rind has a hundred things they are good for,this is just a few!.Baking soda, added to your laundry, makes the water soft-so much softer that it actually gets your clothes cleaner!!See what I mean!.I think they have written books on ALL this HOME REMEDIES-for real!.And the majority of them work!!Please don't forget to fill me in on the soda bead!.Thanks,Sonya CurtisWww@Answer-Health@Com
I'd imagine it would hack at the enamel of your teeth in much the same way as sugar and citric acid!. You possibly end up with white teeth but also may need to go get fillings!Www@Answer-Health@Com
