Bottom Fixed Retainer?!
Question: Bottom Fixed Retainer!?
So it's been a couple years since I had my braces taken off, & I've had this retainer on the back of my bottom teeth since then!. Well tonight I was eating an apple when one side broke off!.
I don't remember how much it hurt for them to put it on in the first place, will it hurt to have it fixed!? I seriously HATED anything to do with braces and it's been fine for the last couple years!. It's just that tonight for whatever reason it decided to snap off!. If only I could fix it myself!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to have it recemented back on, like real soon, because if you don't your teeth will move just enough that it won't fit anymore and then you are looking at the cost of a new one!. It is not painful at all, I work in a dental office and I have done 100's of them, it's just a matter of putting new cement on it and repositioning it! Simple! but if you wait too long it could get costly and if you do nothing all those years of wearing braces is for nothing!. Good Luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
why were you eating it with the apple you should take it in and tell see if they could fix it if not you are going to have to buy another one!. they should have done a mold so they still might have it!. if you need to buy another retainer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
