I've never had that happen to me personally, but I have done temporary work in some pretty shady offices!. Some doctors will do fillings on teeth just because there's some staining and it looks unpleasant!. I've also seen doctors replace all silver (amalgam) fillings just because they're silver!. For the record I am completely against silver fillings- they're so bad for your teeth!. But, if they were filled recently, replacement is probably not needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
