What is the best retainer after braces?!

Are you getting a choice!? Normally your orthodontist picks for you, they know what your teeth need more than you and can adjust your retainer for you perfectly!. If you are getting a choice then I would go for wire, yes you may be able to see them, but I found them more comfortable and to be honest less noticeable, all my friend and my brother has the invisalign type, and you could always tell because there was a gap between the bottom of the retainer and the bottom of their teeth and their teeth always looked plastic!. Lots of people used to ask what they'd done to their teeth!. At least with the wire, people know what it's there for and it doesn't look funny and people won't ask you what you've done to your teeth!.

Anyway that's just my personal opinion, normally your orthodontist wouldn't give you the choice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would probably say--the wire for the retainer!.

It's more efficient and it could really help your teeth adjust and have that curve shape for your set of teeth in such short time!. Also, it depends on your dentist too!. If your dentist suggests you to have the clear invisalign type, then its just okay!.

the wire one I wouls say, I have heard the invisalign messes with your gums!. The wire will hold htem easier!. Just REMEMBER your retainers I forgot the remember my retainers ever night!. Wish I had listened!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
