Antibiotics and Toothaches?!

Question: Antibiotics and Toothaches!?
I have the worst tooth ache ever!.
And my dentist is on vacation for the whole week!.

I believe the tooth is infected, but the pain isn*t cause by chewing or any pressure on the tooth!. It seems that it hurts at random!. Hot and cold do not make it hurt any worse, but hot and cold make it feel better briefly!. There is a little swelling at the bottom, but it is very small!.

My basic question is this: I have 7 antibiotics left from earlier this year!. They Are Penicillin VK 500MG Tabs!. Does anyone know if this would be likely to help my tooth pain at all till the dentist can see me or if something else is happening with my teeth that antibiotics will not help!.

It*s been hurting for 2 days!. I*ve gotten about 2 hours of sleep because of this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
go ahead and start the antibiotics, but you'll probably run out so the best thing to do then would be go to the ER and have them give you more!. or is there an emergency dentist your dentist refers to!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know that the mouthwash called biotene is saving me right now,Im waiting for major dental work!. It works really fast and gets all the way to the root if you suck it up into your gums!. It is really great stuff, get it as soon as possible and do it a couple times a day and you will be amazed!I dont know how but it unswells my gums and takes my toothache away and my teeth are really bad,so it should work great for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

take the penicillin!. you prolly have an abscess!. it will take a day or 2 or 3 to feel better!. get a dental appointment asap!. be prepared for them to give you a lecture about self-medicating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
