Does floss expire?!

Question: Does floss expire!?
I found a pack of floss in my sister's room, but she said it's old!. I'm too cheap to go buy new one if it's still usable!. The bottom doesn't have a date or anything, but I'd rather be safe than sorry!. Floss for teeth that is! =DWww@Answer-Health@Com

KEEP up the flossing!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, floss does not expire!. If it's been 5+ years that it's been in your sister's room, it might get a little weak!. That is a very great question and to answer it no, the floss does not expire!. It might lose its taste and be a little weak (by breaking) but in the long run, no your floss does not expire!. Also, if you want to make your own floss (since you said you were to cheap to buy it), you could take a piece of thread or string, put some of your toothpaste on it, then string it through to your teeth!. The difference between that is the floss is more stronger but they're both the same!. You can use the floss though, it'll be just a tad-bit weak but don't worry, I'm sure your teeth will still look clean and beautiful! Good luck and hope I've helped! ?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only thing that might happen to floss is that it might weaken slightly with age!. If it has been kept in the container and is clean, I would try using it!. It certainly is not going to hurt you!. It's not like a medication that will lose its effectiveness over time!. It's more like sewing thread that may lose some of its strength over time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, it's just cord and wax!.
In fact I'll let you into a little secret!. Toothpast only expires because it has Flouride in it and if you used it a year past date it still won't hurt you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Floss actually dosent expire but it'll let you know when to through it out because when you are flossing the wax will come off on your teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you didn't use that dental floss!. It would still be there,
long after your teeth are long gone, and your new ones,
are floating in a jar!. <}:-})Www@Answer-Health@Com
