While putting braces on, does the blue light thingy hurts?!

Question: While putting braces on, does the blue light thingy hurts!?
what is it!? does it hurts!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The blue light is actually just a blue light only which is part of our normal light (which is made up of different light waves)!. It is not a UV as stated by a previous answerer but just under it!. The blue light is used to set the cement from the bracket (braces) onto the tooth!. It doesn't and shouldn't hurt at all, but some have commented that it does feel a bit warm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had braces for 3 years and it doesnt hurt @ all!. It's just a light that allows the paste to dry up easier or quickierWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's just an Ultraviolet light, used to set the braces I think!. Won't hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
