wether the socket needs to be closed with a stitch , depends on the size of the wound after the extraction,but anyway it is a good option to stitch the wound so as to control the bleeding and prevention of any external particle getting stuck in the socket,pulling out the stitch is a minutes job and does not hurtWww@Answer-Health@Com
In some cases stitches are required and in some its not!. So dont worry!. Its a normal procedure!.
