Question: Had my first filling done 4 hours ago, gum still numb, tooth is hurting like HELL!?
Basically I had a filling done 4 hours ago!. my first one!. I''ve not eaten since then!. The gum and my lip are still really numb!. My tooth is hurting like HELL - it is one of the back ones and it is really really sensitive (i can't even touch it)!. Firstly, is this normal!?!? and secondly what can i do about it!?
Btw I need to eat a massive breakfast tomorrow becuse i've got exams!.!. will i be able to eat at all tomorrow!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know about the numbness, but I think four hours is normal!.
I had ten baby teeth pulled and I couldn't eat for a day or two!. Try sticking your breakfast in a blender and making a smoothie!. Also, although this has nothing to do with nutrition ;) jello is easy to eat, and made me feel a lot better (the jello in a tube is easier to deal with than a spoon if you can find it)
Just make sure not to chew anything while you're numb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
